Join acclaimed portraitist Nanette Fluhr for a five-day workshop retreat where you will learn the techniques that the masters have used for centuries. Working from a live model for 5 days, you will learn the principles of portrait painting in the classical tradition.
This workshop will help develop your ability to achieve a likeness, understand the light on the model, mix realistic complexions and create a three-dimensional illusion. This workshop has been expanded to 5 days to provide a more comprehensive program which will include a focus on features.
Nanette will demonstrate in class and offer personal critiques. Her clear approach provides an opportunity for artists of all levels to benefit from her twenty-five years of professional experience.
