Premier Creative Workshops at the Landgrove Inn

This four-day workshop will focus on the painting process, working from photos or plein air sketches to a finished painting, taking participants through the entire process of creating a strong landscape painting: from building an effective composition to working with value and color and, finally, to finishing with sensitively chosen details. We’ll explore the uses and limitations of photographs as reference material and methods of enlarging studies and sketches for larger studio paintings. Each day will include a lecture and demonstration, followed by painting with one-on-one instruction. A workshop for beginners to advanced painters.
