Premier Creative Workshops at the Landgrove Inn

A Signature Member, Life Member and Past President of the Florida Watercolor Society, Pat is an internationally renowned watercolor artist with more than 30 years of experience.  Her commissioned pet portraits and painting workshops continue to be much sought after.  Whether teaching landscapes or pet portraits, Pat’s ability to inspire and motivate her students keeps them coming back year after year.

My approach to watercolor and acrylic is simple.  I look at the subject, read the values, mix the colors and put them where they go.  Drawing is an important element of painting and I always include that in my teaching.  My approach is spontaneous and direct.

The class will include drawing, design and composition, limited palettes, different subject demo every morning.  Students receive individual attention and given plenty of time to paint.  My goal is to share as much as I can with my students so that they will have the necessary information and experience to create their own original art.
